Working visit of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Finland

On May 10-12, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Finland Mahmadsharif Haqdod paid a working visit to Helsinki to participate in the “Diplomatic dinner” offered the President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö, during which bilateral and multilateral issues between the two countries were also discussed.

At the event, the Head of Finland exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral agendas with the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the Republic of Finland.

In addition, within the framework of this visit, the Ambassador of Tajikistan held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, during which the sides considered topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres, as well as strengthening the legal framework and prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and Finland, and exchanged views on the interaction of countries within the framework of international organizations.

At the end of the meeting, the readiness and mutual interest of the parties in the further development of cooperation between the two countries in mutually beneficial areas was emphasized.
