Coordination meeting of the United Nations Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia

The coordination meeting of the UN's Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) took place on February 8, 2024. Mr. Sharaf Sheralizoda, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, chaired the session of the SPECA. The meeting also included the participation of Ms. Tatiana Molcean, the UNECE Executive Secretary, and the Permanent Representatives of the SPECA member countries to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

During the meeting, participants discussed issues related to strengthening regional trade and economic cooperation within SPECA and its work agenda in 2024. Tajikistan assumed the leadership of the SPECA in 2024.
