An event dedicated to the tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was held in Islamabad

On August 13, 2024, an event dedicated to the tourism opportunities of Tajikistan was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During his speech, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda spoke about the most important initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the direction of developing the tourism sector, presented the rich tourism opportunities, ancient history and civilization and world-famous culture of the Tajiks.

During his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation explained the purpose of holding such a joint event by the growing interest of Pakistan's tourism and information circles in the huge tourism potential of Tajikistan.

Following the event, 10 memorandums of cooperation were signed between the tourism companies of Tajikistan and Pakistan.
