Meeting with Swiss Ambassador

On 9 December 2017 the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan        Mr. Ismatullo Nasredinov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation in Tajikistan (with residence in Astana) Mr. Urs Schmid.

The Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan  Ms. Walburga Rooss also participated at the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties exchanged the originals of congratulatory letters of the two heads of state and foreign ministers on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Switzerland.

The two sides highly assessed the current level of bilateral relations and exchanged views on further strengthening the mutually beneficial dialogue between Tajikistan and Switzerland in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
