On September 25, 2019, Dushanbe hosted the first round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Morocco chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khusrav Noziri and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mounia Boucetta.
The delegations of the two countries discussed issues of bilateral Tajik-Moroccan relations in various fields and the cooperation of the two countries in the framework of regional and international organizations and exchanged views on important regional and international issues of mutual interest. During the consultations, the willingness and desire of the parties to further develop relations of friendship and cooperation in all areas have been emphasized.
The first round of political consultations ended with the signing of two documents - the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco, and the Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco.
