Meeting of the Ambassador with the former Prime Minister of Malaysia

On March 13, 2020, in Kuala Lumpur the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia Ardasher Qodiri has met with the former Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on Tajik-Malaysian relations in the political, economic and investment spheres, as well as the opportunities for developing trade between Malaysia and the countries of Central Asia.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador has presented the invitation for participation at the Second High-level International Conference on the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", which will be held on June 18-20, 2020 in Dushanbe, to Tun Mahathir Bin Mohamad and it was noted that his participation with a presentation of his views on the challenges of the modern world on water issues would be useful during the Conference.
