Tajikistan Ambassador's interview to the state TV channel of Saudi Arabia
On 8 September 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Riyadh Akram Karimi had an interview with the state TV channel "Al-Ekhbariya" of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Ambassador spoke about the achievements of Tajikistan over the years of Independence, the constructive role of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, HE Emomali Rahmon in restoring peace and stability, protecting the state and the nation from external and internal threats, ensuring comprehensive economic and social development in the country and the dynamics of development bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia. Particular attention was paid to the leading role of the Republic of Tajikistan in the region and the world, the country's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as the SCO Summit, to be held on September 16-17 this year in Dushanbe.
