Meeting with the Vice-President of Japan International Cooperation Agency

On January 26, 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Idibek Kalandar received the Vice-President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency Mr. YOSHIKAWA Yoshifumi.

During the meeting, matters related to cooperation in various areas were discussed, with particular emphasis on enhancing the professional training of civil servants, implementation of investment projects to ensure access to drinking water, improving transport and road infrastructure, as well as the development of the agricultural and energy sectors.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in other priority areas and to pursue the implementation of the strategic objectives of the State.
