Visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum

On January 26, 2026, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Farrukh Sharifzoda, visited the Grand Egyptian Museum.

During the visit, a meeting was held between Farrukh Sharifzoda and the Director of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Ahmed Ghoneim. During the meeting, the parties discussed the need to strengthen cooperation between the museums of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Grand Egyptian Museum, emphasizing the importance of signing a cooperation agreement between the two museums.
