Presentation of the UNGA Resolution "International Decade of Strengthening Peace for Future Generations (2027–2036)" at the OSCE

On July 9, in Vienna, the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly entitled "International Decade of Strengthening Peace for Future Generations (2027–2036)", adopted on June 25, 2026 at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Mr.Emomali Rahmon, was presented at a meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council.

In his address, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OSCE Mr.Manuchehr Jobir briefed participants in detail on the content and key objectives of the resolution, emphasizing the significance of this global initiative for strengthening peace, promoting dialogue, and fostering solidarity between generations, and called upon the OSCE participating States to contribute to the realization of the Decade's goals through constructive cooperation and the promotion of joint initiatives.
